COVID-19 relief effort bolstered by community organizations

A $2 million collaborative effort between Resort Tax and community foundations

An additional $1 million has been added to the local COVID-19 relief effort thanks to community organizations. Yellowstone Club Community Foundation, Moonlight Community Foundation and Spanish Peaks Community Foundation are joining efforts with the Big Sky Resort Area District, bringing the initiative to $2 million in order to provide funding “to assist the Big Sky Medical Center… and mitigate social and economic impacts,” according to a press release. “These efforts will immediately fund the purchase of eight ventilators for the Bozeman Deaconess system and Big Sky Medical Center. Additionally, they will soon provide immediate relief by addressing the lingering financial insecurities in our community – helping to provide recovery from this crisis.”
