Making history

The Lone Peak High School Varsity Volleyball team saw real challenges this year. The girls also rose to the occasion. From a quick victory against Harrison/Willow Creek in the 12C Tournament, to an incredible five game match against Gardiner, which they lost, to vanquishing Shields Valley for 3rd place in the conference.

A COVID kick

It should have been a night showcasing teamwork and talent – the kind of competition that only surfaces when teams are well matched. The Lone Peak High School Lay Big Horns and Manhattan Christian Lady Eagles both had undefeated records.

Leading the district

Though the Manhattan Christian Eagles currently outrank the Lone Peak High School Lady Big Horns due to the nature of the scoring system, the Lady Big Horns remain undefeated.

That is not their focus, though, Head Coach Missy Botha said.

Season opener secured

Three and done--Lone Peak Lady Big Horns Varsity Volleyball dominated against the Absorakee Lady Huskies during the season opener on August 29. The Lady Big Horns showed fantastic balance and skill in offensive and defensive plays.
