“The key for us is we want to control it long-term to make sure that the vibe is great downtown. We have patient money and want to make sure we curate the commercial properly so it’s somewhere people want to go,” said Lone Mountain Land Company’s Bayard Dominick, explaining why with all the new development in Town Center, there’s not much for sale.
In the new Plaza Lofts building, there will be 20 residential units on the second and third floors, with a pair of penthouses up top.
“That’s the only product in Town Center that we’re selling, the two penthouses,” said Dominick. “We haven’t started marketing those yet.” But they have turned down a couple offers.
In LMLC’s Golden Stone development, there are 32 townhomes. Six of eight buildings are complete, with the final two buildings, “Coming online in the next week or two.”
There will be three, four and five bedroom places renting for as much as $3,600 per month.
An online posting from March 1 for a townhome on Golden Stone Place lists the property at 1,923 square feet, three bedrooms and three and a half baths. It’s going for $2,800 per month, is pet friendly and judging by the photos online, has views of Lone Mountain.
