Big Horn boys turn it around

After a pair of hard losses, the Big Horn varsity boys came back strong against Harrison-Willow Creek on Dec. 19 at home. Kolya Bough kicked things off in the second half, hitting a three to take the lead 25-24. But then the Wildcats’ zone defense cooled Lone Peak’s offensive production, until Junior Milosz Shipman turned it on. 

Avalanche expert Tom Thorn started ski patrolling in Big Sky in 1997. This year, he left ski patrol to focus on sharing his avalanche safety knowledge with the backcountry community.
