7:30 a.m. γ Alcoholics Anonymous at the Big Sky Chapel
9 a.m. - noon Big Sky National Trails Day hosted by the Big Sky Community Organization
Join the BSCO for a fun day of trail building and maintenance projects to improve the community trail system in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of National Trails Day, Saturday, June 2, #FindYourTrail. Together, along with the rest of the nation, volunteers will improve 2,802 miles of trails—roughly the distance from sea to shining sea across the U.S. Volunteers will meet at the Big Sky Community Park, located at 373 Little Coyote Road, at 9 a.m. to join a variety of trail projects suiting all ages and abilities. Projects include installing new culverts, trimming branches and shrubs, repairing sign posts and gopher holes and a trash sweep. After a fun day on the trails, volunteers will meet back at the pavilion by noon for a BBQ lunch sponsored by Roxy’s. The event is free and open to the public. Volunteers should bring gloves, sunscreen, water bottles and trail-friendly footwear and clothing. Some tools are provided, but additional shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows are welcomed.
12 p.m. West Fork and South Fork neighborhood cleanup
It was a long winter—time to clean up our neighborhoods! Meet at the public park on Juniper Berry Drive. Home Kenny is cooking up food for all who lend a hand.
1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Lone Peak High School graduation at LPHS Bough Dolan Athletic Center
