Lady Big Horns volleyball a force in Class C

The Lone Peak High School Lady Big Horns once again proved a dominant force, beating Twin Bridges Falcons after a quick three game sweep on Oct. 18 at Twin Bridges. Hannah Dreisbach made good use of her height and power, destroying the ball and leaving the Falcons scrambling. The Big Horns operated like a finely tuned machine with fantastic digs by Chloe Hammond sent to Ivy Hicks, so she could assist Dreisbach. Dounia Metje and Reilly Germain led the team with numerous strategic aces, helping secure the win.

The Oct. 18 game was a Falcons’ fundraiser for cancer awareness and prevention.

“They gave roses out to everyone in the crowd who was a cancer survivor,” assistant coach Kara Blodgett said, noting that some people cried because they were so touched.
