2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Seventh Annual Upper Gallatin River Cleanup
Join the Gallatin River Task Force and the Big Sky community in this annual cleanup of the main stem of the Gallatin River and its tributaries. Meet at the Big Sky Community Park River Pavilion to receive cleanup assignments, trash bags and gloves. Arrive prepared to handle garbage, walk along stream banks and wade in the river. Return around 5 p.m. for free beer and vittles. All volunteers will be eligible to win a logo-clad RCTIC cooler. The volunteer whose collected trash item is voted the most unique by the group will win a GRTF hat or t-shirt. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP or for more information.

6 p.m. Music in the Mountains: Pinky and the Floyd on Town Center Stage
Check out Bozeman’s preeminent Pink Floyd cover band, back to Big Sky for a much-anticipated show sure to please Floyd fans and live music lovers in general. Park opens at 6 p.m., music starts at 7:15p.m., food/beverage vendors onsite. Please NO DOGS allowed into the concert area.
9:30 p.m. Live music: Scavenger and Swamp Ritual at Choppers Grub & Pub
Big Sky’s heavy metal ambassadors—Scavenger—welcomes Missoula’s Swamp Ritual for the band’s first show here. This will be the fifth collaborative performance, and the two groups look forward to many more. Show goers should be prepared for “heavy, two-piece sludge to rock your brain!”
