6 p.m. Music in the Mountains: Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds on Town Center Stage
In the years since forming, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds have performed more than 700 shows and made their national TV debut on NBC’s “Today Show”. They’ve released three full-length studio albums, including the most recent and acclaimed “The Weather Below”. The band has shared the stage with Gov’t Mule, Dr. John, Trombone Shorty, the Avett Brothers and Galactic, and has turned audiences into believers through appearances on the festival circuit at Bonnaroo, Firefly, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, BottleRock, Forecastle and others. Park opens at 6 p.m., music starts at 7:15 p.m. Food/beverage vendors available, but please NO DOGS allowed into the venue.

Big Sky’s heavy metal band Scavenger joins forces with Wizzerd from Kalispell for a night of head banging.
10 p.m. Live music: Albert Simpson at Choppers Grub & Pub
Hailing from Alabama, Simpson brings his songwriting and funky folk sound to Big Sky.
