A COVID kick

It should have been a night showcasing teamwork and talent – the kind of competition that only surfaces when teams are well matched. The Lone Peak High School Lay Big Horns and Manhattan Christian Lady Eagles both had undefeated records.

Austin Samuels, Liam Germain, Jackson Wade and Brayden Vaile zero in on a Hornet player from White Sulphur Springs.

Big Horn boys turn it around

After a pair of hard losses, the Big Horn varsity boys came back strong against Harrison-Willow Creek on Dec. 19 at home. Kolya Bough kicked things off in the second half, hitting a three to take the lead 25-24. But then the Wildcats’ zone defense cooled Lone Peak’s offensive production, until Junior Milosz Shipman turned it on.
