Jumping back in time

Lou Ann Harris (left), daughter of Gus Raaum, the first CEO of Big Sky Resort presented Anne-Marie Mistretta and the Crail Ranch Homestead Museum (center) with a copy of “A Ski Jumper’s Life & Legacy,” a book she published about her father.

Susan Loudenslager (right), daughter of Ed Homer, who was the Chrysler Realty executive that bankrolled the building of the Big Sky Resort, was also in town for the holiday and the three spent an afternoon chatting about the early days of Big Sky Resort.

Mistretta became acquainted with Harris and Loudenslager while working on the documentary, “Homesteads to Huntley,” that she wrote and produced with the Crail Ranch Homestead Museum and Outlaw Partners. The 25-minute film can be viewed at http://www.homesteadstohuntley.com.
