Chris “Chewy” Bracht has done Honor Guard for military funerals, worked at Safeway, as a security guard, a lift operator for six consecutive winters at Big Sky Resort, was a mover, a cook for cowboy cookout in Yellowstone, a line cook, prep cook, server and has also been a handyman and done finish carpentry. The job he loves the most, with employers who treat him the best, is at Big Sky’s longtime staple – the Country Market.

Chewy of all trades

Chris “Chewy” Bracht earned his nickname a few years back, when he grew his hair and beard out – and looked like Chewbacca. He doesn’t mind the moniker as he’s always one to appreciate wit.

Richard Schultz craved the wilderness after working nearly a decade in the Big Apple. He loves the natural beauty of Montana but is way more apt to be holding a book than a ski pole, fishing pole or spotting scope.

Craving the wilderness

Richard Schultz and I were introduced by a mutual friend while attending the Lone Peak High School home basketball games. “You need to write about him,” my friend said. Richard launched into good-natured razzing thick with a New York accent.

Meet Devin Milsop.

The Adventures of Devin Milsop

Big Sky locals might recognize Devin Milsop from the time when she worked at the front desk at Moonlight; as a concierge at the Summit or when she was assistant property manager for Big Sky Resort. I know her as a fun-loving, pigtail wearing, dancing-in-the-dugout catcher for the Cab Lizards, in the Big Sky Co-ed softball league.
