Lone Peak Lady Big Horns Volleyball head coach Missy Botha has reiterated throughout the season that the varsity ladies love to play ball. They played throughout the summer, attended camps and are hesitant to leave practice. Demonstrating the kind of success that can happen when passion, practice and talent meld together, they are proving themselves a dominant force in Class C volleyball.

The Lone Peak Lady Big Horns celebrated a sweeping victory against Shields Valley Rebels on Sept. 28 with stand-out performances from TJ Nordahl, Dounia Metje, Chloe Hammond and Ivy Hicks.

The first game saw a bit of a battle before the Rebels conceded to the Big Horns with a score of 25-19.

The second game saw the Big Horns gaining momentum, which seems to be standard this season – a score of 25-17.

Game 3 became a nail-biter as Shields Valley rallied to battle, although they ultimately succumbed to the Big Horns by a mere two points. 28-26, Big Horns.
